A community based vocational program that provides job placement for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment who desire competitive integrated employment CIE. Individualized job development coupled with intensive on-the-job training ensures successful job outcomes. In addition, employers receive awareness training and other support services to foster a positive work environment and positive employment result.
For those with severe disabilities who require long term support to realize their community employment goal, a more intense job placement program called Supported Employment is available. It emphasizes a holistic approach to job placement and retention and includes a career profile, to determine vocational assets and interests followed by individualized job preparation assistance, customized job placement, extended training services and long-term case management.
Skill instruction/job coaching services are available to instruct, mentor, and guide the individual to ensure onboarding and inclusion are successful for the employer and new employee.
